ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Age: 20 & above; IMBM Certificate, 3 GCE “O” level credits including English Language, Higher National ITE Certificate (Higher NITEC), Polytechnic/Private Diploma or equivalent qualifications*.

*In lieu of entry requirements, applicants with min. 3 years/ extensive work experience may be considered (subject to approval by the Board).

FREQUENCY OF LESSONS

Twice weekly (weeknights) or one full day (weekday or Saturdays)

TIMINGS

6.30pm to 9.30pm (weeknights) or 10am to 5pm (weekdays or Saturdays)

TOTAL COURSE FEES (Prevailing)*

$4720/- via instalments (Before MPA's Maritime Cluster Fund of 70% via reimbursement for eligible students). Please refer to IMBM and MPA on course requirements and grant criteria. 

AWARD OF CERTIFICATE

A student will have to attend lessons, attain at leat 75% attendance rate per module, participate in class tutorials and to pass all the modules (8) to qualify for the award of the Certificate. Students are assessed on written examinations, multiple choice questions examinations, class discussion, tutorials and attendance. The Diploma qualification is issued by Institute of Maritime & Business Management (IMBM), a Committee for Private Education (CPE) registered school.

For course/examination requirements, course structure, gradings and course policy (including attendance rate to be attained), please refer to IMBM. Successful DIMS graduates can progress to IMBM’s Advanced Diploma level with exemptions.
